BT152B-400R,118 is a TO-220 plastic-encapsulated thyristor from NXP. It is a Bidirectional Thyristor, with a VDRM (Peak Repetitive Off-State Voltage) of 400V and an IGT (Gate Trigger Current) of 1.5mA. This device has an RMS On-State Current rating of 14A and an I2t RMS Value of 118A2s. It features a Sensitivity Characteristic of VBO20, which means the thyristor will switch on at a voltage that is less than 20V above the Holding Voltage. This thyristor is an ideal choice for applications such as AC motor speed control, SCR Phase control applications, and capacitor bank switching.
