MPM3515 36V, 1.5A Module, Synchronous, Step-Down Converter with an Integrated Inductor AEC-Q100 Qualified The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MPM3515 is a synchronous, rectified, step- Complete Switch-Mode Power Supply down converter with built-in power MOSFETs, Wide 4V to 36V Operating Input Range inductors, and capacitors. The MPM3515 offers 1.5A Continuous Load Current a very compact solution and requires only four 90m/50m Low R Internal Power DS(ON) external components to achieve 1.5A of MOSFETs continuous output current with excellent load Fixed 2.2MHz Switching Frequency and line regulation over a wide input supply Frequency Foldback at a High Input Voltage range. The MPM3515 operates with a 2.2MHz 450kHz to 2.2MHz Frequency Sync switching frequency to achieve a fast load Forced Continuous Conduction Mode transient response. (CCM ) Full protection features include over-current Power Good (PG) Indicator protection (OCP) and thermal shutdown. Over-Current Protection (OCP) with Valley- Current Detection and Hiccup The MPM3515 eliminates design and Thermal Shutdown manufacturing risks while improving the time to Output Adjustable from 0.8V market dramatically.
