MP2151 5.5V, 1A, Synchronous Step-Down Converter with 25 A I and Output Discharge Q in an Ultra-Small Package DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP2151 is a monolithic, step-down, switch- Low I : 25A Q mode converter with built-in, internal power 1.1MHz Switching Frequency MOSFETs. The MP2151 achieves 1A of EN for Power Sequencing continuous output current from a 2.5V to 5.5V 1% FB Accuracy input voltage with excellent load and line Wide 2.5V to 5.5V Operating Input Range regulation. The output voltage can be regulated Output Adjustable from 0.6V as low as 0.6V. Up to 1A Output Current The constant-on-time (COT) control scheme 80m and 50m Internal Power MOSFET provides fast transient response and eases loop Switches stabilization. Full protection features include 100% Duty On cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal Output Discharge shutdown. Output Over-Voltage Protection (OVP) Short-Circuit Protection (SCP) with Hiccup The MP2151 is ideal for a wide range of Mode applications including high-performance DSPs, Power Good (PG) only for Fixed Output wireless power, portable and mobile devices, Version and other low-power systems.
