The TSOP34838 from Vishay is a miniaturized IR (infrared) photomodule used for signal reception in remote control and transmission systems. It is designed to receive infrared signals in the same form as those emitted by common remote controls. This tiny module features a 38 kHz modulation frequency, a built-in lens, and SMD (surface mount device) construction. The TSOP34838 offers reliable signal reception with speeds up to 10 kHz, is backward compatible with most remote controls, and requires low power consumption. It is ideal for applications such as home automation, security systems, and industrial robotics.
