The 74VHC244FTBJ is a part of Toshiba's VHC Series of logic ICs, specifically an Octal Buffer / Line Driver. It is an 8-bit general purpose inverting buffer and line driver designed to provide improved system operation. The device provides a full 8-bit bus for both input and output. This IC is manufactured using Toshiba's 0.5u CMOS process and has a low current consumption ideal for battery-powered devices. It features a high frequency operation up to 50MHz, improved noise margin and a low output impedance so that device can drive up to 10LS output loads. The device also features point-to-point connectivity, low power consumption and ESD protection on both input and output pins. The 74VHC244FTBJ is ideal for a wide variety of applications, including data transfer, transmission and arithmetic processing.
