The SN75176BP with RS-422/RS-485 Interface IC Bus Diff is a high-performance, low power, single channel, bi-directional transceiver that utilizes a single differential pair for data transmission. It is designed for half-duplex or full-duplex transmission modes with auto turn-around for bi-directional applications. It complies with the standard electrical requirements for both RS-422 and RS-485 serial data transmission. The integrated ESD protection is designed to keep the devices from being damaged by electrostatic discharge when handling the device. It features an adjustable slew rate control that can support the desired transmission speed. It also includes an enable pin to turn the transmitter off. The SN75176BP is manufactured by Texas Instruments (TI).
