The Texas Instruments ISO3082DWR Digital Isolators Isolated 5V Full & Half- Duplex RS-485 Xcvr is an integrated circuit designed to provide 2000 Volts of isolation for data lines in low-voltage communication networks. It is a resistive voltage transceiver that provides an efficient bi-directional isolation barrier between two isolated twisted-pair lines. This isolator permits two-wire half-duplex and full-duplex operation with baud rates up to 921.6Kb/s. The device offers top-of-the-line performance and reliability for data link isolation and signal-level timing synchronization in a single chip solution. It is designed for use in Industrial Automation, Building Automation, Fieldbus, Measurement and Control, Pharmaceutical, Laboratory, and Medical applications.
