The CD40106BM is a CMOS Hex Schmitt Trigger inverter manufactured by Texas Instruments. It is designed to be a general-purpose inverting gate with Schmitt-trigger operation on all inputs. The device features a logic gate using a honeycomb lattice structure which ensures low power dissipation and high input impedance. It contains six independent, high impedance, Schmitt-Trigger inverters with low switching threshold thresholds as well as high-level output along with hysteresis. Furthermore, the device also includes an integrated output driver for low-power, hassle-free connection to an output device.
