The device is designed to drive 12 V Compatible with 3 V and 5 V CMOS automotive grounded loads through a 3 V and 5 outputs V CMOS-compatible interface, providing CurrentSense diagnostic functions protection and diagnostics. Analog feedback of load current with The device integrates advanced protective high precision proportional current functions such as load current limitation, overload mirror active management by power limitation and Overload and short to ground (power overtemperature shutdown with configurable limitation) indication latch-off. Thermal shutdown indication OFF-state open-load detection A FaultRST pin unlatches the output in case of detection Output short to VCC fault or disables the latch-off functionality. Sense enable/disable Protections A sense enable pin allows OFF-state diagnosis to Undervoltage shutdown be disabled during the module low-power mode Overvoltage clamp as well as external sense resistor sharing among Load current limitation similar devices.
