R 4 m ON The VND5004ATR-E and VND5004ASP30-E are devices made using STMicroelectronics VIPower Current limitation (typ) I 100A LIMH technology. They are intended for driving resistive (1) Off state supply current I 2 A S or inductive loads with one side connected to 1. Typical value with all loads connected ground. Active V pin voltage clamp and load CC dump protection circuit protect the devices General against transients on the Vcc pin (see ISO7637 Inrush current active management by transient compatibility table). These devices power limitation integrate an analog current sense which delivers Very low stand-by current a current proportional to the load current 3.0V CMOS compatible input (according to a known ratio) when CS_DIS is Optimized electromagnetic emission driven low or left open. When CS_DIS is driven Very low electromagnetic susceptibility high, the CURRENT SENSE pin is high In compliance with the 2002/95/EC impedance. Output current limitation protects the European directive devices in overload condition. In case of long Diagnostic functions duration overload, the devices limit the dissipated Proportional load current sense power to a safe level up to thermal shut-down Current sense disable intervention. Thermal shut-down with automatic Thermal shutdown indication restart allows the device to recover normal Protection operation as soon as a fault condition disappears.
