The M48Z02-70PC1 with NVRAM 16K (2Kx8) 70ns is a low-power Zero-Wait-State 8-bit CMOS Static RAM manufactured by STMicroelectronics. It has a maximum operating supply voltage of 5.5V and operates over a commercial temperature range (-40°C to 85°C). It is a non-volatile memory device, with a non-volatile storage capacity of 16K bits, organized as 2K words of 8 bits each. With a fast access time of 70ns, it is designed to replace embedded microprocessors in real time systems and to provide storage for microcontrollers and microprocessors. The device also features a Reset function and has an additional provision for a Battery Backup facility when the device is not in use. The device is available in a 40-pin DIP package.
