The L78M09CV is a positive voltage regulator from STMicroelectronics. It is a 3-terminal low-dropout (LDO) regulator. It is rated at 9V and delivers up to 800mA of output current. The input voltage range of the regulator is from 8V to 15V and it features an enable function for improved power saving. It is housed in the TO-220 package and has a service lifetime of 55°C/W with a maximum junction temperature (Tj) of 150°C. It is ideal for applications requiring high efficiency and superior reliability.
