Additional Infomation About Product

The L7809ABV is a voltage regulator (9V, 1A) from STMicroelectronics. It is a fixed output low-dropout (LDO) linear voltage regulator, with a very low quiescent current and a wide input voltage range (from 8.2V up to 20V). It can provide output currents up to 1A, making it ideal for powering larger, more power-hungry devices and circuits. The L7809ABV offers superior ripple rejection and line regulation over other regulators, and its internal thermal protection helps protect it from damage in the event of an overload. Notably, it offers the same performance in both the automatic self-protection (ASP) and the manual safety protection (MSP) modes.
