The L7812ABV is an electronic part manufactured by STMicroelectronics which is a voltage regulator linear with a fixed output voltage of 12V, a maximum output current of 1.5A, and is housed in a TO220 Transistor Outline (THT) with a terminal pitch of 0.51÷0.6mm. It provides thermal overload protection, short-circuit protection, reverse-voltage protection and inrush current protection. It is intended for use in general-purpose switching applications.
