The AIS2DW12TR with Board Mount Motion & Position Sensors MEMS digital output motion sensor ultra-low-power 3-axis accel, automotive is a MEMS silicon device manufactured by STMicroelectronics that measures acceleration in three orthogonal planes (x, y, and z). It is designed to provide high-accuracy output in automotive applications. The device features a 24-bit sensor, low noise figure, and an integrated low-power ASIC that helps extend battery life. In addition, it has a user-programmable interrupt engine that allows reliable motion-detection. The ultra-low power consumption of the device makes it an ideal choice for battery-powered applications.
