SemiconductorThe RPI-0226 Optical Switch from ROHM Semiconductor is a transmissive phototransistor output phototransistor switch with a 50mA 5V 80mW output. This device is designed to detect the presence of an object or signal by creating an electrical interruption in the presence of light. The device features a photointerrupter which uses a light source (such as an LED) and a light-sensitive component (such as a phototransistor) to detect the interruption in light. It provides a reliable and accurate switching operation with minimal power consumption. The RPI-0226 is UL recognized and RoHS compliant, making it suitable for use in a variety of industrial, commercial, and consumer applications.
