The BD62014AFS-E2 is a high-performance motor driver integrated circuit manufactured by ROHM. The device features two brushed DC motor drivers in a 24-pin SSOP-A package and is compliant with the RoHS directive. The bipolar complementary outputs are capable of driving low-voltage motors sustainably at current up to 1A with the same small package size. It is designed for robotic appliance, agricultural machinery, and miniature vehicles, promoting high efficiency and accurate control for miniaturization. This device also provides comprehensive protection functions such as over-voltage protection, thermal protection, and short circuit protection. The device features a two-switch LDO built-in, which allows for a regular Suppressor Diode to be omitted along with 3 to 6V voltage support for the power supply. Furthermore automated brake and reverse rotation can be easily controlled using the output logic level selector on the driver board.
