Additional Infomation About Product

The RT8812AGQW is a switching controller manufactured by Richtek and packaged in a WQFN-20L_3x3mm RoHS compliant package. It is a highly integrated switching converter with integrated 2-phase dual-output driver, optimized for notebooks and other mobile applications where space is limited. It stands for Richtek Transistor Switch 8-channel, dual phase, non-isolated with integrated gate drivers. It features an adaptive synchronous rectification (ASR) control scheme, which allows the use of either synchronous rectification or passive rectification with the same controller. This makes the RT8812AGQW suitable for both synchronous and passive mode applications. The controller has built-in safety features such as thermal shutdown protection and open-circuit voltage control, which provides additional safety in case of fault conditions due to its low voltage operation. This controller also has a minimum on-time control feature that helps reduce input ripple current and reduces RMS input current for higher efficiency.
