The Pololu Traveling Nut is a custom-designed part made to fit the TR8×8(P2) threaded rod. It is made out of Delrin, a type of plastic, and features eight opposing tabs that move up and down the rod's helical threads as the rod is rotated. This allows it to travel along the rod and can be used in a variety of applications. The design is optimized for speed and reliability with its robust construction, and the parts can be used in many robotic and linear applications. The Traveling Nut is ideal for applications where a nut needs to move along a threaded rod.
