TReX
The Pololu TReX motor controller is an advanced, feature-packed motor control module for robotics applications. The TReX is capable of driving up to three brushed DC motors (or one stepper motor) with a maximum combined continuous current of 15A. It has a wide operating range, making it ideal for applications requiring speed control, current limiting, and over-current protection. The POLOLU-2128 is a TReX model specifically designed for a single brushed DC motor and offers a continuous current rating of 20A. Features include lower and upper current limit settings, PID closed-loop velocity or torque control, and a wide input voltage range (7V to 28V). The POLOLU-2128 is capable of monitoring motor temperature and current draw, making it suitable for more advanced applications where greater insight into the motor’s behavior is desired.
