Pica8's 8081/SB is a fully managed gigabit switch designed for hyper-convergent server networking applications in clouds, clusters and data centers. Its non-blocking architecture and ultra-low latency design enable real-time communication between servers, while its flexible high-total bandwidth design minimizes congestion, allowing for faster and more reliable data transmission. Additionally, the switch is pre-loaded with the Pica8 OS, which supports a rich feature set, including VLANs, ACLs, QoS and traffic monitoring. It also supports advanced open networking software, such as OpenFlow, OpenVSwitch and other controller-driven applications.
