MC74LVXT4066 Quad Analog Switch/ Multiplexer/Demultiplexer HighPerformance SiliconGate CMOS The MC74LVXT4066 utilizes silicongate CMOS technology to www.onsemi.com achieve fast propagation delays, low ON resistances, and low OFFchannel leakage current. This bilateral switch/multiplexer/ demultiplexer controls analog and digital voltages that may vary across the full powersupply range (from V to GND). CC The LVXT4066 is identical in pinout to the metalgate CMOS SOIC14 NB TSSOP14 MC14066 and the highspeed CMOS HC4066A. Each device has four D SUFFIX DT SUFFIX independent switches. The device has been designed so that the ON CASE 751A CASE 948G resistances (R ) are much more linear over input voltage than R ON ON of metalgate CMOS analog switches. PIN ASSIGNMENT The ON/OFF control inputs are compatible with standard LSTTL X A V outputs. The input protection circuitry on this device allows 1 14 CC A ON/OFF overvoltage tolerance on the ON/OFF control inputs, allowing the Y 2 13 A CONTROL device to be used as a logiclevel translator from 3.0 V CMOS logic to D ON/OFF 3 12 Y B CONTROL 5.0 V CMOS Logic or from 1.8 V CMOS logic to 3.0 V CMOS Logic X 4 11 X B D while operating at the highervoltage power supply. B ON/OFF 5 10 Y The MC74LVXT4066 input structure provides protection when D CONTROL voltages up to 7.0 V are applied, regardless of the supply voltage.
