The MAC15A8G is a three-phase sinusoidal Brushless DC Motor Controller/Driver IC from ON Semiconductor. It is designed to provide high-efficiency, high-power control of three-phase sinusoidal brushless DC motors in low-voltage applications. It has advanced sinusoidal current-waveform algorithms and advanced digital circuitry, along with full protection and optimized commutation. It offers peak currents up to 15A and operates at a maximum voltage of 8V. It can be programmed via an I2C interface.
