Nexperia's 74HC4060DB.112 is a high-speed CMOS 14-stage binary ripple counter. It has an oscillator for generating an internal high-frequency clock pulse, and a decoder for controlling an output of 46 signals (A to Z). This device is used in a variety of applications such as frequency division, electronic switches, and scanning applications. It consists of an internal oscillator, two data selectors, a latch, an input buffer, and a counter. The counter has divide-by-two, divide-by-four, and divide-by-eight outputs, and the data selectors provide access to the counter stages for input and output. It has high noise immunity, high speed of operation, and low power consumption, making it an ideal choice for various microcontroller applications. It is available in a small SOIC-16 package.
