MPQ4423 High Efficiency 3A, 36V, Synchronous Step Down Converter AEC-Q100 Qualified DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MPQ4423 is a high-frequency, Wide 4V to 30V Continuous Operating Input synchronous, rectified, step-down, switch-mode Range converter with built-in power MOSFETs. It 36V Input Transient Tolerance for offers a very compact solution to achieve a 3A Automotive Load Dump continuous output current with excellent load 85m/55m Low R Internal Power DS(ON) and line regulation over a wide input supply MOSFETs range. The MPQ4423 has synchronous mode High-Efficiency Synchronous Mode operation for higher efficiency over the output Operation current load range. Default 410kHz Switching Frequency Synchronizes to a 200kHz to 2.2MHz Current-mode operation provides fast transient External Clock response and eases loop stabilization. High Duty Cycle for Automotive Cold-crank Full protection features include over-current Power-Save Mode protection and thermal shut down. Internal Soft-Start The MPQ4423 requires a minimal number of Power Good readily-available standard external components, OCP Protection and Hiccup and is available in a space-saving QFN-8 Thermal Shutdown (3mmx3mm) package.
