It is one of MPS second generation of 90% Efficiency at 5W fully integrated audio amplifiers which dramatically Amplifies Full Audio Range with Low THD+N reduces solution size by integrating the following: Typical = 0.1% 9.5V to 18V Supply Voltage Operation Start Up / Shut Down Pop Elimination Full Bridge Output Drive Short Circuit Protection Circuits 4 Integrated 180m Switches 180m Power MOSFETs Turn On / Turn Off Click and Pop Suppression Mute / Standby Mode Integrated Short Circuit Protection The MP7731 utilizes a full bridge output structure Integrated Thermal shutdown capable of delivering 5W - 30W into 4 Mute / Standby Mode speakers. As in all other MPS Class D Audio Amplifiers, this device exhibits the high fidelity APPLICATIONS of a Class AB amplifier with an efficiency of Flat Panel LCD and PDP Displays 90%. The circuit is based on the MPS proprietary Notebook and Multimedia Computers variable frequency topology Analog Adaptive Televisions Modulation (AAM, Patent No. 6,420,930 other Home Stereos patents pending) that delivers excellent PSRR, DVD and VCD Players fast response time and operates on a single Game Devices and Systems power supply.
