By Proprietary V Surge Protection up to 28V IN integrating high voltage input protection into the Programmable Charge Current up to 1A charger IC, the MP26121 can tolerate an input 1% Voltage Accuracy surge up to +28V. 10% Battery-Full Threshold No Reverse Blocking Diode Required The device features constant current (CC) and Intelligent Thermal Management constant voltage (CV) charging modes with programmable charge currents (200mA to 1A), Trickle Charge current blocking, and trickle charge. The device 7V Input OVP also provides fault and charge status Auto Recharge indications to the system. Charge-Timer Fault and Charge Status Indicators For guaranteed safe operation, the MP26121 reduces charge current when the device APPLICATIONS reaches high temperature (due to limited PCB Cell Phones space). Other safety features include battery Digital Cameras temperature monitoring and programmable Smart Phones timer to complete the charging cycle.
