TM MP1430 3A, 28V, 385KHz Step-Down Converter TM The Future of Analog IC Technology PRELIMINARY RELEASE SPECIFICATIONS SUBJECT TO CHANGE DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP1430 is a step-down regulator with an 3A Output Current internal Power MOSFET. It achieves 3A Programmable Soft-Start continuous output current over a wide input 110m Internal Power MOSFET Switch supply range with excellent load and line Stable with Low ESR Output Ceramic regulation. Capacitors Up to 95% Efficiency Current mode operation provides fast transient 20A Shutdown Mode response and eases loop stabilization. Fixed 385KHz Frequency Fault condition protection includes cycle-by-cycle Thermal Shutdown current limiting and thermal shutdown. Adjustable Cycle-by-Cycle Over Current Protection soft-start reduces the stress on the input source Wide 6V to 28V Operating Input Range at turn-on. In shutdown mode the regulator draws Output Adjustable from 1.22V 20A of supply current.
