Additional Infomation About Product

The Step-Up Click is a power management board from MikroElektronika that can be mounted onto an appropriate Click board. It uses a DC/DC step-up converter MCP1665 with an integrated MCP4921 DAC for generating adjustable output voltages up to 5V with a default 2.9V, which can be easily adjusted with a single solder jumper. Ideal applications include powering sensors with higher voltage, as well as supplying power to low voltage devices with a low input voltage. The power output of the board can be controlled with a logic signal or via analog signal. The board also includes a wide range of protection features, such as over-voltage protection, 28V surge protection, reverse polarity protection, thermal shutdown, and Short-Circuit Protection.
