The MSC015SMA070S is a Silicon Carbide Power MOSFET N-Channel 700V 131A 3-Pin TO-268 manufactured by Microchip. It is a wide-bandgap power semi transistor that offers improved system efficiency, better power density, and improved performance over the conventional silicon-based MOSFETs. With its low gate charge performance and low on-resistance, the MSC015SMA070S allows for greater energy efficiency in power electronics applications. This part is designed to have a maximum drain-source voltage of 700 Volts with a maximum drain current of 131 Amps in a 3-pin TO-268 package. Features of this MOSFET include: an avalanche rating, reverse voltage protection, integrated built-in fast body diode, low gate charge and low on-resistance. The MSC015SMA070S can be used for applications such as motor controls, DC/DC converters, Smart power stages, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and more.
