The Megapower MD4181 ESOP-8L Audio Power Op Amp is a RoHS compliant, high performance, monolithic audio power amplifier designed for use in audio systems. It has very low distortion and low noise at high power and low power levels, and is capable of delivering up to 70 watts of power into 8 ohm loads from ±17-volt supplies. It is rated for up to 36V maximum output voltage swing and also has protection against short circuits, over-current, and thermal shutdown. The MD4181 is well suited for use in a variety of audio applications including surround sound systems, hi-fi home theatres, car audio systems, and headphone amplifiers.
