The K24C64 is a 64 kilobits (8192 x 8) EEPROM with an I2C interface. It is designed and manufactured by Hua Hong NEC and is constructed in a small-outline package (SOP) measuring 8 pins with a 150 mil pitch. It is compliant with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) standards. The K24C64 has a maximum write cycle endurance of 1,000,000, a data retention of 10 years at 85°C. It also supports a fast mode for accessing the data and has a wide operating voltage range from 1.35V to 5.5V. The K24C64 also has advanced features like block write protection, page write protection and sequential write.
