The K24C08-SIRXA is a 8Kb (1K x 8) serial I2C EEPROM device manufactured by Hua Hong NEC. The device is packaged in a SOP-8_150mil RoHS compliant package and is designed for use in any application requiring a serial EEPROM. The device is compatible with the I2C bus protocol and has a Cat IEC 60730-1 (Climate Counts) certified POR function. It has a standard operating voltage range from 1.7 to 5.5V and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The device has an array of 4,096 x 8 bits organized in 256 pages (of 16 bytes each) that can be written individually or combined into a page write. The device is suitable for applications such as product design data storage and program memory expansion.
