The UC3843M/TR is a Switching Controller SOP-8 RoHS manufactured by HGSEMI. It is an integrated circuit optimized for high frequency applications, and is targeted at high performance constant-voltage and constant-current control systems. It can regulate AC/DC power supplies as well as general purpose motor speed control and solar array maximum power point tracking applications. It consists of an error amplifier, internal current limiting, inherently protected outputs, and a temperature shutdown circuit for over-temperature protection. It also features low start-up current, cycle-by-cycle current-limit protection, and a fixed 50kHz oscillator for control and monitoring. The chip is also RoHS compliant and is supplied in an 8-pin SOP package.
