The SI522 from Zhongke is an RF chip with a 32-pin QFN-32-EP(5x5) package and compliant to ROHS requirements. It is an ISO 14443A compatible transponder with a MIFARE serial interface and an UART. This type of component is typically used for RFID, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth applications in which a contactless transaction is required.It is designed and manufactured for industrial applications and offers enhanced features like an integrated ESD protection and a high-speed operation. Its RF interface uses amplitude-shift keying (ASK) that is suitable for tag and reader applications. It also provides enhanced features such as reading-after-writing, digital write protection, and low operating voltage. This component is designed for a wide operating temperature range from -40°C~85°C. It can be used in a wide range of applications including automotive, medical, industrial, banking, and gaming.
