The ST232BDR ROHS with a SOP-16 ICs is an integrated circuit (IC) designed and manufactured by Youtai that provides a low power solution for applications requiring line, modem control, and balancing of data communication. The device is an integrated transceiver with a low-power and low-power supply providing full-duplex asynchronous communication for RS232 serial communications. The ST232BDR requires a 3.0V to 5.5V DC supply and one external 4.7kOhm pull-up resistor. It also features a low power auto sleep mode, a low voltage threshold for wake up, a low power shutdown state, and a current draw of less than 10mA in active mode. It is also compliant to ROHS standards for reduced risk of environmental hazards. This IC is perfect for a wide range of industries requiring a reliable solution for their RS232 serial communications.
