WPMDL1301801 / 171031801 3 MagI C Power Module VDRM Variable Step Down Regulator Module 4V 18V / 3A / 0.8V 17V Output DESCRIPTION FEATURES The VDRM series of the MagIC Power Module family Peak efficiency up to 95% provides a fully integrated DC-DC power supply including Current capability: 3A the buck switching regulator, inductor, input and output Input voltage range: 4V to 18V capacitors in a package, allowing a minimum external Output voltage range: 0.8V to 17V components count solution, quick time to market and Reference accuracy: 1.5% ease of use. VIN 1,2,3,4 Power These pins are internally connected together. Connect externally all together with a single PCB track. The output voltage pins are connected to the internal inductor. These pins are VOUT 9,10,11,12 Power internally connected together. Connect externally all together with a single PCB track. The feedback pin is internally connected to the regulation circuitry. The FB 13 Input regulation reference point is 0.8V at this input pin. Connect the feedback resistor divider between the output and GND to set the output voltage. Connecting this pin to a voltage lower than 0.4V (e.g. GND) disables the device. Connecting this pin to a voltage higher than 1.2V enables the device. EN 16 Input This pin is connected to ground through an internal pull-down resistor. Therefore leaving this pin open disables the device. Exposed These pins are the ground connection of the device. All pins must be PGND EP Pads connected together externally with a copper plane for heat sinking Not These pins are not connected to the internal circuitry and are not connected to NC 5,6,7,8,14,15 connected each other.
