The VS-25TTS08FP-M3 with SCRs New Input Thyristor - FULLPAK-220-e3 is a fully-controlled silicon rectifier from Vishay. This device has a blocking voltage of 800 V, a surge withstand of 25 A, and a maximum allow power dissipation of 1260 W. It is designed for applications including AC and DC motor control, AC switching, and fluorescent lighting ballast. It is constructed with a (4) quadrant design featuring gold metalization on the top and bottom surfaces, a guard ring construction on the side walls for maximum lifetime, and an optimized electrodes structure. It also features a low turn-on voltage of 0.8 V and a VCE(sat) of 1.5 V. It can be used with various switching configurations including half-wave, dual full-wave and single phase full-wave.
