Additional Infomation About Product

The TSOP98338 is an infrared remote control receiver module manufactured by Vishay. This module uses an ASIC to detect and demodulate a streamed signal from an infrared source such as a remote control. The module has an operating voltage of 2.7 to 5.5V DC and can be used to control various household items like TVs, audio players, and air conditioners. The module has a built-in demodulator and also comes with an automatic gain control (AGC) system. It has a peak detection angle of +/- 45 degrees and a frequency range of 30KHz to 56KHz. The module is available in a 4-pin surface-mount package and is RoHS compliant.
