The BFC233821472 is a ceramic safety capacitor featuring X2 MKP 4,7nF 20% 310Vac Pitch 10mm manufactured by Vishay. It is designed for use in AC power supplies and power line filters. The capacitor is constructed from two layers of ceramic and two layers of metallized polypropylene film with a tin plated steel top and base for safety and reliability. This capacitor meets safety requirements of UL 94 V-0, 8mm creepage and clearance, and has a Class Y1 rating. It features a 10mm lead pitch, wide frequency operating range, high voltage capability, and low losses over temperature and frequency. The capacitor is suitable for use in a variety of safety critical applications such as TV Tuner and lighting ballast circuits.
