Visaton is a German speaker and amplifier manufacturer founded in 1958 and based in Northeim, Germany. The company produces a wide range of products, including woofers, tweeters, midranges, horns, full-range and PA speakers. 1138 is a 2-way bookshelf loudspeaker system made by Visaton. It has a 20 cm woofer composed of a pressed steel chassis and a radial polymer surface membrane, and an aluminum dome tweeter. The system has a frequency response of 40 Hz – 20 kHz, 88 dB sensitivity, and an 8 ohm impedance. It is suitable for home HiFi, listening rooms, and professional speakers.
