Additional Infomation About Product

The TLP5214 is an optically-isolated type IGBT driver made by Toshiba. It features two channels, an output of IGBT driver, a 5 kV insulation resistance, and an SO16-W package for surface mount device (SMD) mounting. It helps to drive insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs) and power MOSFETs which have lower ON-resistance than those of optically-isolated buffers, and thus helps to reduce conduction losses. It also has a wide input voltage range of 5.5 V to 36 V and a high insulation voltage of 5 kV between the input and output. Additionally, it offers advanced protection functions against overcurrent, short circuit, transient voltage and overtemperature.
