012040 is a type of torque limiter manufactured by Torqueleader, a British company specializing in torque tools. This particular torque limiter is designed to protect screw threads and fasteners from being over-torqued while still allowing users to apply the correct torque. It features a built-in adjustable buffer stop and two metal plates that are held together by a spring and Locking Screw. The torque limit is adjustable and can be set to achieve accuracy within 2%.
