The TPS65235RUKR with Switching Voltage Regulators HOUYI II 1P0 is a monolithic integrated circuit manufactured by Texas Instruments. It is a low voltage multi-channel switch mode power supply (SMPS) controller designed for use in portable devices such as mobile phones and consumer electronics. The circuit is capable of supplying up to 1A of highly efficient power from input sources of up to 12V. It also features a power-good indicator output, an undervoltage lockout and a power-save mode for increased efficiency. The device features 8 switching regulator channels, each with an output voltage range of 0.75V to 6V. This makes it ideal for mobile device applications where different voltages are required to power different components. Additionally, the dynamic response of the circuit is optimized for fast transient response and it operates in both the continuous and the discontinuous modes of conduction. The switching frequency can be programmed either via a dedicated digital pin or external resistor to optimize efficiency and minimize external components’ size.
