The TPS61165DRVR is a high-brightness white LED driver manufactured by Texas Instruments. It is designed for driving high-brightness white LEDs in portable platforms. The device includes complete protection features for under-voltage, over-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature. Its efficiency is up to 92 percent, and it is capable of delivering output currents up to 25 mA. In addition, the TPS61165DRVR incorporates a built-in photodiode for temperature control and LED current setting. The device is perfect for LED backlighting in portable products such as cellular phones and PDAs.
