The TPS60402DBVR from Texas Instruments is a voltage inverter switching regulator charge pump with a maximum output current of 60mA. It is designed to convert the input voltage to an opposite voltage, either a positive or negative output. This device features a low dropout voltage of 570mV, an efficiency of greater than 90%, and a 1.5V to 5.5V voltage range. The TPS60402DBVR is designed to enable the optimization of power management for low power systems, such as microcontrollers, sensors, cell phones, and laptop computers. Additionally, it contains an active high enable pin allowing the user to control power to the system. It also includes a patented high-speed low-ripple charge pump circuit and is available in a small 1.6mm x 2.3mm MSOP-8 package.
