It is designed to convert a voltage input range of 4.5-V to 28-V to a 3-A output. This device has an efficiency up to 96%. It also provides programmable current-limit, short-circuit protection, and thermal shutdown. Additionally, it has an integrated Power-Good signal to enable intelligent system-level power control and a true pulse-frequency modulation (PFM)-mode for excellent light-load efficiency. The TPS54302DDCR is a great choice for applications that require high efficiency, low EMI, and low cost.
