The TL431CLPR Voltage Reference with TO-92-3 ROHs package is a three-terminal adjustable shunt regulator manufactured by Texas Instruments. It is ideal for precision, temperature compensated zener reference applications. It provides an internal reference voltage of 2.5V at 25 degrees Celsius and has a maximum temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. Additionally, this device has a low temperature drift, low quiescent current and good stability over temperature and time. The device has an operating voltage range of 2.25V to 36V and a maximum operating power dissipation of 260mW. It also has excellent noise immunity due to its accurate internal feedback.
