The THVD1520DR with RS-485 Interface IC 5-V RS-485 transceiver by Texas Instruments is a 8-SOIC surface-mount integrated circuit designed for use in bidirectional data communication applications. It features ESD protection up to 8-kV according to IEC 61000-4-2 and can operate at speeds of up to 10 Mbps. It has a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The THVD1520DR is optimized for 3.3-V supply and 5-V tolerant inputs and offers true fail-safe logic levels. It is qualified for automotive applications.
