Additional Infomation About Product

The TCA9548ARGER is a 8-Channel I2C Switch with Reset manufactured by Texas Instruments. It enables the I2C master device to access up to 8 slave devices by changing the I2C address. The switch is controlled via a read/write register (I2C address) which is accessed through the I2C bus. This device is designed to support multi-channel applications where changing the I2C address is necessary, such as multiple I2C devices in a distributed system. It can also be used to provide individual power and ground control to the I2C connected devices on each channel. It is a low voltage, low power CMOS device with a quiescent current of 23uA when all 8 channels are ON. It is available in 8-pin TSSOP Package and is RoHS compliant.
